King’s is celebrating an exceptional year of success in netball, with six pupils earning places within the highly regarded Team Bath player development pathway.
Four pupils, Maddie H, Pippa R, Sophie S and Lizzy R, have been selected for the Team Bath ADC Exeter programme, while Netty C and Sienna J have secured places in the Junior Player Development Programme (PDP).
Team Bath’s pathway is recognised as one of the leading netball development programmes in the South West, providing talented young athletes with access to high-quality coaching, competition and development opportunities designed to support progression within the sport.
The achievements of these six pupils reflect not only their talent and dedication but also their willingness to commit to training and development alongside the demands of school life.
At King’s, pupils pursuing elite sporting opportunities are supported through the school’s High Performance Programme, which provides specialist coaching and strength and conditioning support to help athletes maximise their potential while maintaining a healthy balance between sporting commitments and academic success. This holistic approach enables pupils to thrive both in the classroom and in their chosen sport.
The selection of four players to the ADC Exeter programme and two more to the Junior PDP represents a significant achievement for the King’s netball programme and highlights the strength of the pathway available to aspiring athletes within the school.
Particularly pleasing is the breadth of talent represented across the group, with each pupil demonstrating the commitment, resilience and work ethic required to succeed within a highly competitive regional performance environment.
We congratulate Maddie, Pippa, Sophie, Lizzy, Netty and Sienna on their selections and look forward to following their continued development and success with Team Bath in the seasons ahead.
