King’s has once again placed pupil wellbeing at the heart of school life with our annual Wellbeing Day. The event brought pupils and staff together for a full day dedicated to reflection, creativity, movement and fun, reinforcing our commitment to cultivating a supportive, healthy and thriving school community.
Wellbeing Day 2026 offered a rich programme of activities across the College, giving every pupil the chance to explore new experiences and to spend intentional time focusing on their wellbeing. Throughout the day, all pupils took part in a carefully curated mix of creative, physical and reflective sessions. These included hands-on art activities that encouraged mindfulness, expression and calm, an inspirational talk from our visiting speaker whose insights supported resilience and motivation, and group singing sessions that created a joyful sense of unity. Pupils also enjoyed peaceful yoga sessions designed to promote stillness and grounding, as well as lively Bonkers Games, quizzes and friendly competitions that brought excitement, teamwork and laughter. The variety ensured that every pupil found something that resonated with their interests and personal needs.
While Wellbeing Day is a standout moment in the school calendar, its impact reaches far beyond a single event. The experiences pupils share, whether moments of creativity, physical activity or connection, help to build a school culture where wellbeing is understood, prioritised and openly discussed. We know that supporting mental and emotional health is an ongoing journey. Through events like this, as well as daily pastoral care, co curricular opportunities and open dialogue, King’s continues to champion a community where every pupil feels valued, supported and empowered.
