The National School Equestrian Championships at Addington last weekend saw an outstanding performance from the King’s equestrian team, who stormed to victory in three major championship show jumping classes. Competing against top schools from across the country, the team clinched first place in the 70cm class, the prestigious 90cm New Windsor Final, and the Regional Points League Final.
Claiming the Championship Title
The 70cm team, made up of Oliver T, Rory F, and Clemmie S-B, delivered a flawless round to secure the top spot. In the 90cm New Windsor Final, Rory F, Harriet T, Jess M, and Emily M rode with precision and determination to take the win. The Regional Points League Final saw another dominant display from the King’s riders, with Clemmie S-B, Matilda J, Oliver T, Rory F, Harriet T, Jess M, and Emily M combining their efforts to claim the championship title.
Individual Success and Representing the West of England Team
Individual success also shone through, with Jess M placing 8th in the 90cm class and Emily M finishing 7th in the 1m category. Adding to the excitement, Rory F was selected to represent the West of England Team in the Nations Cup, where they achieved a fantastic 2nd place finish.
