Lower Sixth pupil Brodie D has recently returned from Belfast, where he proudly represented Scotland Aspiring Under 18 Boys in a three-match series against Ulster.
Competing at an international level, Brodie was part of a squad that delivered an exceptional performance, securing victory in all three matches and demonstrating impressive skill, teamwork and determination throughout the series. The clean sweep provides excellent momentum for the team as they continue preparations for this summer’s prestigious 8 Nations Tournament.
This latest success builds on what has been a rapid and impressive rise through the Scottish hockey pathway. Brodie first earned national recognition with a call-up to the Scotland U16 squad, following standout performances within the Scottish Emerging Player Programme and a series of strong displays against top opposition.
Since then, he has continued to go from strength to strength, representing Scotland Emerging at the Six Nations tournament, where he shared captaincy duties, scored against the Netherlands and was named Player of the Match in the third-place play-off. A key member of the King’s College 1st XI and the College’s High Performance Programme, Brodie’s dedication and progression continue to mark him out as one to watch.
Everyone at King’s is delighted to celebrate his achievements and wishes him every success as he looks ahead to the next stage of his international career.
