King’s is recognised as one of the leading academic schools in the area – and the foundations for our success are built from Early Years right through the Prep school: we know from statistical analysis of GCSEs and A-level results that our children who have spent time in the Prep consistently outperform others with a similar profile who join us in Year 9.

Our talented teachers from Reception through to Year 8 are all committed to ensuring that every child reaches the highest educational standard for their age and ability, achieves significant personal and social development and is well prepared for the next stage of their school journey. There is no sense of being in a holding pattern – we owe it to each child to help them understand their full potential at every stage, and this becomes a permanent, embedded life skill rather than a superficially outcome-driven approach.
