All participants are encouraged to maximise their talents and are brought on through careful tutoring. The runners all train together over a variety of terrains including woodland and over more interesting areas on the Quantock and Blackdown Hills. Every year a number take part in county teams at both regional and national level.
Former pupil Oliver Fox has led the team with distinction since his arrival in the Third Form. He won almost every event, becoming an international for both the English Schools, British U20s and the full British team at the World Championships.
Sam Cobb now leads the way as an international athlete, representing GB and winning many medals in biathle, triathle and pentathlon.
Over the years, our cross-country runners have gone from strength-to-strength under the guidance of Richard Llewellyn-Eaton, with many reaching the finals of regional and national events.
