Onto Senior School
We are proud to say that the vast majority of our Prep School pupils choose to progress quite naturally onto our senior school site, King’s College- and why not, it makes perfect sense.
King’s College is a popular boarding and day school, renowned for providing an outstanding education for 13-18 year olds. A nurturing environment with personalised support enables each child to thrive; small class sizes, exceptional learning and pastoral care, and new facilities have all underpinned the school’s leading reputation for academic excellence and sporting success.
However, all options are possible and children are prepared for whatever entry requirements their choice of senior school expects. For instance, our Prep pupils have recently taken up places at Eton, Harrow and Radley to name a few.
Over the last six years, those moving on from Year 8 have gained over 200 scholarship awards in academic, art, design technology, drama/performing arts, music and sport to their senior schools.
At the end of Year 8, pupils from King’s College Prep School are fully prepared for the next step in their educational journey. They leave us armed with confidence, essential soft skills, and a strong academic foundation, ready to thrive in any setting they choose.
