International International Tutor
Our International Tutor at King’s College helps to support your child, encouraging their successful integration into life at the school throughout the year.
Our tutor will also talk to the pupils on a regular basis about any concerns they might have, staying in regular contact with their Houseparents in order to help look after their wellbeing.
In each boarding house there is an international prefect in the Upper Sixth Form, who is appointed each year to help support and look after the needs of our international pupils within the boarding environment. The International Tutor works with the prefect, updating one another regularly.
Our tutor also runs a programme of events for international pupils, which includes a cultural trip once a term. They also host other traditional celebrations, such as our annual Chinese New Year Supper. Within the first week of term, our International Tutor meets with all international pupils and ensures they know how they can get in touch if they would like to talk.
