Joining from 11 years old
Within our family friendly environment, we nurture well-rounded and grounded individuals with a true sense of purpose.
Joining King’s at 11
A childhood paradise for 4-13 year olds, King’s College Prep is an independent co-educational boarding and day school built in a superb Georgian House on the edge of the Quantock Hills. Our remarkable 50-acre estate – including 30 acres of playing fields – is surrounded by National Trust farmland, yet we are within a mile of Taunton town centre.
Joining King’s at 11 provides pupils with the opportunity to continue their education in a supportive, close-knit environment where they can flourish. As they move into the later years of their education, we focus on nurturing their academic, personal, and social growth, helping them develop confidence and resilience.
With access to specialist teaching, a broad and challenging curriculum, and a wide range of extracurricular activities, pupils are encouraged to build on their strengths and explore new interests, ensuring they are fully prepared for their next chapter at King’s College.
