Netball
All girls have the opportunity to represent the school at a level appropriate to their ability.
Netball is played during the Lent term, with training taking place in games sessions twice a week and matches held during the week and on some Saturdays. We consistently celebrate victories in IAPS tournaments across various age groups.
Whilst winning is an important aspect of the game, we believe true success lies in how our pupils engage with the sport and handle inevitable losses, as this is how true resilience is gained.
PROGRESS & ACHIEVEMENT
In addition to timetabled lessons, netball hobbies are run in both the Michaelmas and Lent Terms. Many fixtures are played throughout the term against local Prep Schools, along with entry into tournaments and IAPS competitions.
Talented pupils are given the opportunity to trial for the County Academy and recognition of performance is important.
