Last night King’s debaters took part in the South West round of the Oxford Union Schools’ debating competition. This gives pupils the opportunity to debate with schools from all around the South West, from Truro to Bristol to Swindon. Competitors have to plan a case in 15 minutes and then give a 5-minute speech. They are adjudicated and individual feedback is given by current Oxford Union debaters.
