Horizon Lectures

Broadening the horizons of our Upper Sixth pupils as they prepare for life beyond King’s

Third Form pupil Andrew V hoists the Saltire in honour of St Andrew's Day! #saintsdays https://t.co/8hXwkn3Wmb - an hour ago

Organised by our Sixth Form Events Co-Ordinator, Fran Parker, our weekly Horizon Lectures take place during the Michaelmas and Lent Terms. The purpose of these talks is to further inspire, motivate and educate our pupils outside of the academic curriculum. The programme’s content is extremely varied; in previous years we have explored war through the lens of a camera, discovered the intricacies of forensic dentistry and considered the computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
