Hockey Camps at King's
Our popular hockey camps run throughout the year during the school holidays. Over time, this provision has developed and new camps have become established.
As well as offering general camps, open to all abilities, we also have very specific days aimed at those with a passion for hockey and who are committed and willing to work hard to develop as a player.
Our Emerging Player Performance and our Aspire camps are aimed at the more experienced players who are already on, or who wish to progress onto the England Hockey Player Pathway. These camps are limited and by application only.

Hockey Camps
These camps run 10.00am – 4.00pm
Cost: £30
Age range: 10 years old and over
These camps are suitable for everyone, no matter their level of experience. We can challenge the more able player and introduce the game to those who have less experience. Players are grouped according to ability to ensure a valuable and worthwhile experience.

Hockey Nippers Camps
These camps run 10.00am -12.30pm
Cost: £10
Age range: 5-9 years
These camps are for those trying out hockey for the first time and for those who have played some hockey, but who want to develop their play in a fun and inclusive environment. We keep the numbers of players on these camps low in order for us to give plenty of individual attention.

Emerging Player Performance Hockey Camps
These camps run 10.00am-4.00pm
Cost: £40
Age range: 11-13 years
By application only. Places are limited.
These camps are for players who have a passion for hockey and who demonstrate commitment to working hard to develop as players. They are aimed at those players looking to progress onto the England Hockey Player Pathway.

Our Coaches
Our residential camps are led by our Director of Hockey, Clare Hayes (EHB Level 4 Coach) and Laura Bennett (EHB Level 2 Coach).
Clare and Laura have a wealth of experience. Clare coaches from grass-roots to national level and has represented Great Britain in the Over 40s squad, playing in the Hockey World Cup in 2014, plus a Home Nations and a European Championships competition.
Laura has experience of coaching at England Hockey Junior Regional Performance Centres (JRPC). Both coaches currently coach in the England Hockey Player Pathway.
