Working at King’s College Organist and Accompanist

We require a talented organist to join our Music team from September 2026 to accompany the congregation and Chapel Choir at the College Eucharist each week.

We are looking for a musician who can share their expertise and love of organ music, and to work as an accompanist at concerts and for individual performers in their music exams. The school gathers weekly on a Wednesday morning for College Eucharist, which is a central aspect of the school week. The organist would also be required to work at the weekly service as well as at major school events such as the Remembrance Service and the Leavers’ Service.

King’s College is an exciting, forward-looking and rewarding school to work in. We support all staff to develop their skills, providing frequent access to high quality professional development, utilising the skills and experience of colleagues through our peer-coaching programme and tailoring professional development to each individual and their aspirations. We believe that investing in the development our staff is a key element in ensuring excellent learning and pastoral care.
