Emily McGuirk is an actress, teacher, a multi passionate entrepreneur, wife to Ryan and mother to Monte and Mia. She attended the prestigious Drama Centre London and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, USA, studying both Acting and Musical Theatre.

After an exciting career as an actress, culminating in a six-month tour of Austria playing Lady Macbeth, Emily was burning to teach. She moved to Devon to gain her PGCE in Drama and went on to become Head of Drama at Okehampton College and Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Torquay,

Four wonderful years and a number one selling single later, Emily moved to Italy with her husband on a military posting to the NATO headquarters.

Here, whilst challenged by depression, she started an online business in the health and wellness sector.

It turned out to be a huge turning point for her mental health and career. She was surrounded by empowered and positive men and women with a breadth of knowledge and understanding on both personal growth and business growth.

It led to coaching others within the business, both in person and online, before being invited to share her success journey at several large events in the UK, culminating in the 3,000-capacity arena at the Birmingham NEC. This is one of her proudest moments. This is where the passion began, to develop 'Small Steps Big Vision', a series of workshops focused on helping girls love who they are, know what they want and equip them with tools for success.

Emily is eternally grateful for all that she has learned along the way through entrepreneurship. She feels it is her duty to pass this information on to allow everyone the same opportunity for growth that she has been lucky enough to experience.

It's all about the small, simple, seemingly insignificant steps in the right direction that take us closer to realising our potential.
