Rosie joined the Care Quality Commission in March 2019 as Chief Inspector of Primary Medical Services and Integrated Care and is responsible for the regulation of General Practice, Dentists, Health and Justice settings (eg prisons), Integrated Care, NHS 111, Defence Medical Services, online providers and Independent Health clinics in England.
Prior to joining the CQC, Rosie worked as a GP for over 15 years in Somerset, and led many change programmes as a clinical leader in the county. She has also held roles as the CEO of the South West Academic Health Science Network and was Vice Chair of the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE). She is currently a trustee for the Nuffield Trust.
