Boys' tennis
Boys' tennis at King's takes place during the Summer term. Training sessions are timetabled on three afternoons a week, lasting between one and two hours, with match fixtures on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the term.
Pupils of all abilities are catered for. Specialist coaching is provided during all sessions to enable our tennis players to improve throughout the term and their time at King's, in terms of their stroke play, and the tactics of tennis, singles and doubles.
Match play happens in an exciting doubles format. Fixtures are organised against other schools in the South West as well as the OAs, and are always exciting and competitive each year.
Also at King's we offer free coaching or hitting sessions during the Lent term. This takes place for two hours during games time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and is also available for all ages and abilities. Pupils just need to turn up when free, and are able either to work on an area of weakness, or have a good workout for the period available.
Private coaching is also available at King's in one-to-one sessions.
