County success for King's cricketers

King's cricket has achieved unprecedented success this week, with three members of our 1st XI playing for Somerset 2nd XI. Jos Buttler, Alex Barrow and Craig Meschede are currently in action for Somerset in their 2nd XI Championship game against Gloucestershire, along with Somerset stars Wes Durston, Carl Gazzard, Steffan Jones and former England paceman Andy Caddick.

The squad for the Somerset Under 17 team has just been announced, with Alex Barrow chosen to captain the side. Joining him from King's in the squad will be Craig Meschede and Nathan Smith, giving King's an impressive representation at this level for just one school. In addition to this, Todd Barrett has been selected for the Somerset Under 15 squad - cricket is in excellent health at King's!
