Meade King winners!

This year's Meade King Cup was a fiercely contested competition, particularly between Wellington School and ourselves. There were some outstanding efforts from all team members, including many personal bests on the day.

The boys came within one point of beating Wellington. Howard Hollis won the Under 14 100m Individual Medley, Tom Parris the Under 15 50m freestyle, and Alex Raleigh the Under 15 breaststroke.

The girls though went one better, winning the Meade King Cup, and adding the Open Girls relay cup at the end of the day. Lucy Chapman won the Under 14 50m backstroke, Rebecca Turner the Under 15 50m breaststroke, and Cat Graham the Open 100m breaststroke. The Open Girls 4 x 50m freestyle team, made up of Cat Graham, Felicity Perris, Alex Parris and Katie Vickers, won this event, in a new pool and Meade King Cup record time.
