County Championships

It was an excellent haul of six gold medals at the Somerset County Championships, held at Millfield. Our new county champions are Victoria Canning in the hurdles, Charlie MacLean who ended up lapping other runners in the 3000m whilst also winning the pole vault, Hugo Turner in the discus, Sam Warren in the shot, and Maddie Hinch in the discus. Amongst those who claimed silver and bronze were Lucie Raleigh, second in the long jump, Terry Addo second in the discus, and Jordan Webb, Graham Giles, Jack Lawson, Samantha Brown and Matt Peel.
