Sports Day

Records tumbled on Sports Day, despite windy and cool conditions. Throwing into a gale-force headwind, Maddie Hinch added over a metre and a half to the Senior Girls javelin record, as well as posting a new school record in the discus.

Mhairi Hall lowered the Junior Girls Sports Day 800 metre mark by nearly two seconds, and Hattie Cunningham took the Sports Day Junior Girls long jump record. Other Sports Day records to fall were the Intermediate Girls 80 metre hurdles to Victoria Canning, and the Senior Girls high jump to Olivia Nash.

Hugo and Ross Turner broke three Sports Day records between them, and Terry Addo set a new mark in the Under 18 discus. Charlie Lenygon added nearly half a metre to the Open shot record, while Ben Philips took two seconds off the Under 16 800 metres record.
