Health Centre Nurse
King’s College is a co-educational school for 13-18 year olds. The school has 470 boarding and day pupils and is part of King’s Schools, Taunton, along with our prep school King’s Hall. Set in a beautiful 80-acre site, close to the county town of Taunton, King’s has a strong community ethos, and is a happy and welcoming place to work.
Due to one of our longstanding nurses having a change of career we are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to help with the smooth running of the Health Centre. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously. Experience of minor injuries and child health would be an advantage.
The role is term-time only and shifts would be based on a new shift pattern of 2 x ‘25 hour’ shifts per week to cover the 33 weeks of term. We are looking for someone to work Tuesday 9.30am – Wednesday 10.30am and Friday 9.30am – Saturday 10.30am. We acknowledge the notice period for nurses so are prepared to wait for the right candidate.
