Teacher of Mathematics (full-time)

The school is looking to appoint, from September 2020, a talented and enthusiastic mathematics specialist to join a vibrant, academically successful and well-resourced department.

The successful candidate will teach pupils across the full age range and to A level. He or she will also be expected to contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of this busy boarding and day school. Accommodation may be available for the successful candidate.

Head of Psychology (part/full-time)

The school is looking to appoint, from September 2020, a talented and enthusiastic psychology specialist to establish and lead this exciting subject as a new A level at King’s.

The successful candidate will be given the resources and support to ensure that the current demand for psychology is matched by an exciting, innovative course. He or she will also be expected to contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of this busy boarding and day school. The ability to teach a second subject would be a benefit for full-time candidates.

Maintenance Electrician (Multi-skilled craftsperson)

We require a highly motivated and talented individual with a real “can do” approach, to work as part of a team, full time across both our schools, King’s Hall School and King’s College.

You will have either successfully completed an electrical apprenticeship or recognised structured training programme and previous experience of electrical maintenance and installation work.

Exam Invigilator

We are looking for temporary Casual Exam Invigilators to provide support to the external examination process. You will be responsible for the supervision of pupils in the exam room, including when entering or leaving the exam room.

Invigilators will be allocated morning and / or afternoon sessions. Morning sessions start at 8.45am, with the exams beginning at 9.00am. Afternoon sessions start at 1.30pm, with exams beginning at 1.45pm. The length of an individual session varies, depending on the subject and whether candidates require extra time.

King’s College makes a limited number of awards to candidates who are about to enter the School in Year 9 (13+) or into the Sixth Form (16+).
