School fees 2009 / 10

With effect from September 2009 the fees at King's College will be:

Day Pupils                  £5,410 per term

Boarders                    £7,990 per term

These fees represent an increase of around 2.5% compared with the rates for 2008/09, and are needed in order to enable us to maintain the high quality of educational and extra-curricular provision which is distinctive of King's College. 

The fees at King’s College include the cost of items which are often charged as 'extras' at other comparable independent schools (meals and text books, for example).  Our major cost, as ever, is that of salaries for our staff and we must have regard to increases in salary scales in the maintained sector, in order that we can continue to recruit, retain and properly reward the best people. 

We constantly examine our costs to ensure the best possible standards of education and care for our pupils and value for money for our parents.
