Mr JJ Mack
Director of Development
Julian Mack joins King's Schools as the new Director of Development. Having spent the last nineteen years in the sports marketing industry working on projects such as the London 2012 Olympics and Lucozade Sport's sponsorship of the Premier League, he brings a vast amount of experience to the role.
In 2008 Julian founded Threshold Sports with Olympian James Cracknell. Threshold is an events company that stages physically arduous, multi-day challenges for the likes of Deloitte and Sport Relief. Fund raising and physical/mental well-being are the primary objectives of the events.
Driven by helping people to reach their potential, Julian was attracted to King’s Schools because of the supportive, stretching, stimulating environment they offer young people. He is looking forward to making a big contribution to both schools by raising funds for further development of resources and facilities.
His three children keep him very busy when he's not working: Oscar,
Barnaby and Wilbur all attend King's Hall School. As a family they love to go surfing, cycling and
camping in their large bell tent.
