Netball v West Somerset

The 2nd VII were playing against West Somerset's 1sts, and dominated from the start. Rosie Main was outstanding, making 19 out of 25 shots, and Heather McKenzie was unmoveable in defence. A close first half had the 3rds leading only 10-8 at half-time. We then rediscovered our netballing talents, and moved the ball around well. Player of the match was Holly Matthews in a well-deserved 17-11 victory.

Despite being caught up in a tightly fought match, the Under 15s maintained their early lead, and went the entire final quarter without conceding a single goal. The final score was 13-6. The Under 14s' match was played in good spirit, with lots of energy. We soon took an unassailable lead, and switched goal targets effectively, resulting in a most encouraging 30-11 victory.
