Netball v Stoodley Knowle

The 1st VII produced a solid win, though there were signs they had lost a little match sharpness over half-term. Overall though they played a good standard of netball. The 2nds never really came to terms with the pace of the game. Stoodley were quick and sharp in their thinking. Lacking a recognised goal shooter, the Under 15s found themselves on the back foot for much of the game. With only a three-goal difference though at the end of the third quarter King's were still in with a chance, but the opposition commanded possession and gradually pulled away.

In a slow-paced game the Under 14s found it difficult to find any real rhythm to their play. After a disappointing second quarter we drew all the other periods of play, at last finding some pace and energy in the second half. The Bs put up a really good fight of it, particularly in the first half. There was some excellent shooting from Charlotte Parris.
