Netball v Castle

In a match that pitted our 3rds against Castle School's Under 16s, a fine team performance on a slippery surface gave us a well-deserved win. From defence to attack everyone did their job, with Emily Baker and Harriet Butterfield both shooting particularly well and moving around the circle effectively. At the other end Charlotte Davidson and Holly Matthews were strong in defence, making several key interceptions. Charlotte won player of the match.

The Under 15 Bs played Castle's As and won a very tight game. After drawing the first quarter, King's pulled away, but never really put clear daylight between us and the opposition, as Castle constantly came back. There was some excellent dodging in what was a very good close game, exciting to watch.

Our Under 14 Bs played their As, and eventually ran out winners. Not before losing the first quarter though, and we had to play the rest of the game with a lot more energy. Marking was good and there was some excellent shooting in what turned out to be a very good game of netball.
