Fencing success
Fourteen year-old Henry Walker had a tremendous weekend at the Under 17 Camden Fencing International, finishing 16th. The only British competitor to finish higher than Henry was the current national number one, who was placed 13th. Henry successfully fenced Romanian, Hungarian and Icelandic competitors and showed true grit and tenacity.Henry is now ranked third in the National Under 17 rankings and will be working hard to hold this position over the next year, as this would qualify him for the coming European and World Championships. With two years left in this age group, his ambition to represent Britain at this level looks to be well within his grasp.
