Somerset Schools

The Somerset Schools Cross-Country Championships took place on Saturday 4th February at Taunton racecourse, and produced some excellent results from King's runners. Tom Lawson came 2nd in the Junior Boys race behind last year's national champion, and sister Tess came 10th in the Senior Girls race in her comeback race after a lengthy lay-off through injury.

Mhairi Hall came an encouraging 8th in the Junior Girls race, while Ryan Higgin came 9th in a highly competitive Senior Boys race. All four have now been selected to represent Somerset. Fixtures coming up include the King's Cup and the National Championships in London.
