James ends 2005 on a high note
King's British-ranked junior tennis player James Marsalek ended 2005 on a high note by being the only boy to reach both finals at the Ariel 14 and under Grand Prix event at Nottingham.13-year old James, currently in the third form at King's, was a singles winner at the Ariel indoor tournament at Bath in October, and again at Cardiff in November. James was eventually beaten in the Nottingham final, but went on to win the doubles event.
The Czech-born youngster now moves on to the prestigious Under 14 Teen Tennis International at the Bolton Arena later this month, before travelling on to compete in Tarbes, France.
