Former pupil Jos Buttler has been selected for the England ODI squad to face Pakistan in the seven-match series in Abu Dhabi and Dubai next week.  The Somerset wicketkeeper / batsman has had a spectacular start to 2012, topping the batting averages for the England Lions in their recent series against Bangladesh.  He ended the series at the top of the batting averages with 161 runs, including 12 fours and 5 sixes, at an average of 53.56, as well as bagging two stumpings and six catches behind the stumps.

He went on to Sri Lanka with the Lions for a five-match 50 over series, where in the first match he scored his maiden ODI century, before adding a second two matches later.

England play a warm-up fixture against England Lions on Friday 10th February, ahead of the first match against Pakistan on Monday 13th February in Abu Dhabi.
