King's Triumph at National Schools' Squash Competition
The Lent Term will see some major changes to squash at King’s College: this will be the first time in 38 years that we will be entering a squash team in the Somerset league. This will involve playing against clubs from the local area in home and away matches. The games will take place on Monday evenings and each team will consist of five players.
Both staff and pupils will have the opportunity to take part and will gain valuable experience in the process.
We are also delighted to announce that our current squash team is through to the next round of the National Schools’ Squash competition, run by England Squash. The squad will play in a tough league, alongside schools such as Millfield, Winchester and Charterhouse.
Squash is a highly beneficial sport that helps players to develop agility, sharpen hand-eye coordination and boost cardiovascular health.
