King's College Golfers on Top Form

The King’s College golf team have qualified for the Independent Schools Golf Association (ISGA) finals for the first time in our history!!

It was a tough route to the final, beating Truro and Sherborne twice before playing Monkton Coombe School in the final at Burnham and Berrow.

Enduring the wet and windy conditions, the players were fantastic. The team was superbly led by our England player and team captain Taylor Stote, who won his match convincingly.

Will Chesterman won his match by seven holes and Jack Veale also played some fabulous golf, resulting in a win by a considerable margin.

Mention should also be made of Adam Shimali, who has also helped the team during the earlier stages.

Congratulations to Taylor Stote, Will Chesterman, Jack Veale and Adam Shimali for this wonderful achievement. They now play in the schools finals day at Royal St George’s at the end of April.
