Impressive Term for King's Footballers
It has certainly been a wonderful term for our talented football teams, who have each recorded noteworthy successes during the course of the past twelve weeks.
The Girls’ Under 15s are through to the fourth round of the English Schools’ Football Association 11-a-side KO Cup after notching up a comfortable victory over their opponents from Exmouth Community College.
The Under 15s have already recorded victories over Holyrood and Millfield Schools and Mount Bay School from Penzance.
The Girls’ Under 18s are through to the next round of the Independent Schools’ Football Association 11-a-side KO Cup after an emphatic victory over Millfield School.
The Boys’ Under 16s are also through to the third round of the Somerset County Cup after an impressive win over North Somerset Enterprise and Technology College.
Travelling to South Somerset, the King’s College Boys’ Senior Development XI recorded a very easy victory over the Yeovil College Under 18s.
Director of Football, Chris Heayns, said: “All of our teams are performing well and have produced some impressive performances recently.”
He added: “It is very pleasing to see the players all working so hard with their coaches and making the most of the opportunities that are being made available to them.”
