Members of the King’s Schools equestrian team have enjoyed considerable success over the recent half term break.

Three members of the team, Ellie Clist and Lara Chapple from King’s College, alongside King’s Hall pupil Sophie Flatt, competed in the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Dressage competition at King's Sedgemoor.

In the preliminary qualifier, the trio qualified to represent Somerset at the County Dressage Championships to be held at Bury Farm Equestrian Club in Slapton from 20-22nd April.

In addition, 15 year old Ellie Clist has also qualified as an individual.

Head of Equestrian at King’s Schools, Emma Edwards said: “All of the girls have been working very hard on the disciplines required for this competition and their success is very well deserved.”
