Christmas at King's
The annual Christmas supper – that takes place in the last week of Michaelmas Term – is always a festive way to end what is a very busy term.
Staff don appropriate Christmas garb (the Headmaster opting for a Santa hat, and Mrs McSwiggan a pair of Rudolph antlers) and prepare to serve hungry hoards of pupils.
Houses are seated together across two rooms – our dining hall and the Woodard Room – and as staff and pupils return from the servery to their tables, the hunger is sated and the lively celebrations commence.
Earlier in the week, staff, pupils, parents and friends were treated to some seasonal sounds at our Christmas Concert. In festive attire, pupils and staff gathered to deliver some cracking Christmas cheer.
