Boys' Hockey News

The boys’ hockey teams at King’s College are all enjoying considerable success this season, and their hard work has started to pay off.

Both the Under 14 and the Under 16 sides have won their way through to the regional finals of the National Schools Competition.

In addition to this, the Under 18s are also through to the third round of the National Cup, where they have been drawn to play Exeter School away.

Director of Hockey Clare Hayes said: “To have three of our boys’ teams doing so well in national competitions is a great achievement and testament to all of the hard training and preparation work that they have put in.”

Clare added: “Hockey at King’s overall is in a pretty good place. In addition to the success these three teams are enjoying, Eliza Chippendale, Abi White, Beth Barzotelli and Alec Sprague have all been selected for the England Hockey Performance Centres.”
