King’s House Squash Tournament 2017

Squash at King’s has become an increasingly popular game.

This week saw the House Squash title up for grabs. Bishop Fox House were unable to field a team for this year’s tournament due to injuries, and so the event was adapted to a round robin competition between the remaining three boys’ houses.

Opening the proceedings in the first round, Woodard faced King Alfred, and although the King Alfred boys played with spirit, Woodard won 4-1.

Against Tuckwell, after an initial defeat the Alfred boys fought back, winning 3-2.

In another close-fought match Woodward saw off Tuckwell with a 3-2 win.

Congratulations go to Woodard – 2017 winners.
