Highly talented athlete Sam Cobb was back at King’s College this week after a busy day at Bath University competing in the British National Tetrathlon Championships, as well as the first Under 17 National Ranking event.

After a long and gruelling day of competing in swimming, laser-run and fencing, Sam was crowned National Champion and is now officially ranked number one in the UK in the Under 17 age category.

During the Easter holidays Sam travelled to Portugal with the GB Pentathlon team for a week of training followed by competing in the Under 17 Europa Cup where he finished fourth.

The King’s athlete has also qualified for the European Biathle Championships which take place in Madeira after he has finished his GCSE exams, and this coming Sunday, he has the European qualifiers for the Triathle event.

Congratulations Sam, and good luck for your forthcoming events.
