Continuing her athletics successes, Third Form pupil Grace F returned to Cardiff National Indoor Arena before the start of term to compete in the South West Indoor U15 Championships.

Competing in numerous events including the shot putt and 800m, the highlight for Grace was the 60m hurdle event that saw her scoop the gold medal with a PB of 9.73 seconds.

Grace also achieved a silver medal in the shot putt and a bronze in the 800m. Over the course of two days she took part in six events, securing a gold, two silvers and two bronze medals.

Next up for the talented young athlete will be the U15 English National Indoor Championships in Sheffield next month, where she is aiming to compete in the hurdles, high jump and long jump events. This will be her final preparation for the England National Combined Events Championships in March.
