Our speech and drama pupils are celebrating after receiving a fantastic exam results.

King’s College is a registered LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examination centre, having become affiliated earlier in the academic year.

The LAMDA examination is an extremely rigorous and well-regarded qualification, carrying UCAS points for grades six to eight. We are delighted to announce that the feedback we have received about our pupils’ results has been fantastic.

Of the 13 pupils entered for the examination, 11 have achieved distinctions and two were awarded merits. The UCAS points awarded translate to 12 at grade six (bronze distinction) and 16 for those at grade seven (silver distinction).

Commenting on this outstanding set of results, our speech and drama teacher, Meriel Hughes said: “I am very proud of, and pleased for all the pupils for their outstanding achievements and for their hard work and commitment.”
