King’s College pupil Dan Luedicke has been selected to play for the England Lambs Rugby team, a significant achievement in the rugby world.

The Lambs are an established squad that creates openings for talented sportsmen to showcase their rugby skills at a representative level.

Dan, who is 17 years old and plays at fly-half or fullback, impressed coaches during the South West trials, before progressing to the final trial held at Wisbech Rugby Club.

The King's Sixth Former, who resides in Bulford, Wiltshire, is also set to join Sailsbury Rugby Club later this year.

Last weekend, Dan successfully helped the England Lambs to secure a 29-17 win over the Exeter Chiefs at Exeter University.

Ed Lewsey, Director of Rugby at King’s College, said: “Dan has impressed this season and is fully deserving of his selection for the England Lambs.”
