Hockey at King's College is going from strength to strength, with ten pupils attending an England Hockey Performance Centre this academic year.

The boys teams have enjoyed a particularly good season, with the Under 16 boys being crowned Somerset County Champions and participating in the Regional Finals.

The Under 15 boys made it through to the Independent Schools Hockey Cup quarterfinal, before losing out to Whitgift, who were the eventual winners.

The Under 14 boys have celebrated an equally great season, having qualified through the County and Regional preliminary rounds and participated in the Regional Finals.

Head of Hockey at King’s Schools, Clare Hayes said: “This has been a wonderful year for our hockey teams, in particular the Boys’ Under 14, 15 and 16 sides. They have all enjoyed considerable success, which is thoroughly deserved after all of the hard work that they have put in this season.”
