We are delighted with our recent purchase of a sublimation printer as a result of the generosity of our very own OA Club.

This will allow pupils to create their own design work and then transfer this to a wide range of materials including fabric, t-shirts and metal, all with professional results. The heat press also has a wider creative use for textiles and art, with the application of heat transfer paints and disperse dyes that can create some stunning results.

In addition to benefiting the art department, the printer will have a wider use for the school marketing department, who will be able to produce promotional materials such as bags, keyrings and business cards.

Once again, a huge thank you to the OA Club for helping to fund this useful piece of equipment. We have no doubt that it will be used for many years to come.
