Residential Camps

Residential Camps

Our camps are designed to be fun! You will learn and develop your skills with experienced coaches.

The residential camps focus on individual and team technical and tactical development, both on, and off the pitch.

As well as coaching sessions, there will be a range of evening activities.

Full board accommodation is at our prep school, King's Hall, which is situated on the edge of Taunton, within a beautiful 50-acre site.

Our Coaches

Our Coaches

Our residential camps are led by our Director of Hockey, Clare Hayes (EHB Level 4 Coach) and Laura Bennett (EHB Level 2 Coach).

Clare and Laura have a wealth of experience. Clare coaches from grass-roots to national level and has represented Great Britain in the Over 40s squad, playing in the Hockey World Cup in 2014, plus a Home Nations and a European Championships competition.

Laura has experience of coaching at England Hockey Junior Regional Performance Centres (JRPC). Both coaches currently coach in the England Hockey Player Pathway.

This prestigious military competition is attended by schools from across the country, and challenges leadership, teamwork, decision-making, fitness and specific military knowledge.

Not only did the team win the overall title, they also lifted five individual trophies, making this the best result in the school's history.
