King's is committed to providing the highest quality teaching and pastoral care and the Development Office exists to help the school maintain its standards of excellence. Located in the heart of the school, the office provides administrative support for the Old Aluredians Club and Friends of King's. Working closely with the Old Aluredians, Friends of King's, Parents' Association, school staff and pupils, the Development Office promotes the involvement of the King's community in the success of the school.
We are very grateful indeed to many of you who have made generous donations in the past, large and small, either to the general appeals or for specific areas of interest. We are also very thankful to those of you who have bequested the school something in your Will.
Please do look at the OA website, www.aluredian.co.uk. It exists to provide a focus for all Old Aluredians, who can then maintain their links with the School and with each other wherever they may be, nationally or internationally.

I have spent nineteen years in the sports marketing industry working on projects such as Lucozade Sport’s sponsorship of the Premier League, the rugby world cup in Australia, the London 2012 Olympics and women’s professional tennis.
In 2008, I founded Threshold Sports with Olympian James Cracknell. Threshold is an events company that stages physically arduous, multi-day challenges for the likes of Deloitte and Sport Relief. Fund raising and physical/mental well-being are the primary objectives of the events. A good example is the Deloitte Ride Across Britain in which a thousand cyclists pedal the thousand miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats in just nine days.
I’m driven by helping people to reach their potential. I was attracted to the King’s Schools because of the supportive, stretching, stimulating environment they offer young people. I hope to make a big contribution to both schools by raising funds for further development of resources and facilities.I have three (very) energetic boys at King’s Hall – Oscar, Barnaby and Wilbur. In our spare time, we love to go surfing, cycling and camping in our family bell tent.
