Under 14 girls through to regional final
The nine-girl squad topped their group in tight games against King Arthur's, Millfield B and West Somerset School , and in the semi-final beat Haygrove School 10-7. Although they eventually lost to Millfield A in the final, the two finalists now go through to the next stage, and will be representing Somerset in the regional finals to be held in January.
1st VII netball coach at King's Imogen Hobday said "It was an especially pleasing result, as hockey is really the major sport this term, and the netball doesn't really get going until after Christmas. But this new group of girls to King's are obviously an exceptional bunch, so we're all looking forward to great things next term."
