Bricking It

Bricking It

Ten years ago, following a career in investment management, Nicole was at home raising three children under three and unsure what her future held. Fast forward to 2020 and she has a boutique property development company currently building out 105 homes and commercial units across nine sites in London.

What first attracted Nicole to property was the fast pace and excitement of being a hands-on developer. It was a way of combining her love of architecture and design with her financial knowledge. Having built out millions of pounds of property over the last decade, she was at the forefront of alternative finance raising over £6.4m via crowdfunding for six of their sites. Building on her experience and expertise, particularly around the importance of personal branding within the property space, Nicole is often invited to speak at events throughout the world with engagements in Dubai and Canada during 2020.

Nicole is also a regular property columnist with Modern Woman magazine and is the best-selling author of Bricking It, with another book on the way. Of course She has a podcast where she share engaging conversations with people from all industries at

Outside of property development Nicole has invested in property auction company Bamboo Auctions and music merchandise company Terrible Merch. She is a non-executive director on the boards of these companies as well as that of Cogress, an alternative finance company. Whenever possible she and her partner Paul escape to the Mediterranean to sail on Savvy of London, his XP-55 by X-Yachts. The pair recently launched a sailing channel on YouTube, SailingSavvy, which follows their family’s adventures at sea.
